This guide walks you through assembling the key, transforming it from black to white, and using it to escape your cell.

Prerequisites

Before the Skeleton Key can appear in the prize case, you need to have unlocked all four drawers and collected the full set of cadaver (corpse) pieces. Without these, the key simply will not spawn, so treat them as your foundation.

• Collect every cadaver piece and keep them equipped.
• Buy the Skull from the shop.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Collect all four corpse pieces across your runs.
2. Purchase the Skull from the shop.
3. During the early deadlines, decline the red "Be Right Back" phone calls instead of answering them.
4. Scratch out all three 6s on the floppy disc (the 666 combo) before the late deadline.
5. Answer the phone on the next deadline once you have turned down three red calls.
6. Clear the high-coin deadline and grab the key from the prize case beside the ATM.

Turning the Key White

A black Skeleton Key alone is not enough for the good ending. Once you have refused three red calls and scratched the three 6s, answer the phone again on the following deadline. The phone transforms from red to white and the caller speaks in gold, more reassuring text. At that moment the Skeleton Key in the prize case also turns white.

The Escape Ending

To claim the white key you still need to clear the big coin deadline (around the 250,000 threshold). Succeed and you can grab the white Skeleton Key and unlock your cell door. Exiting reveals an elevator control panel where the slot machine used to be — interact with it and your character rides up and out of the prison for good, with the credits rolling over a sunrise.
